Although WCA is primarily financed through tuition, WCA does rely on supplemental income from fundraising and charitable giving. Additional financial resources support three main areas:

• Facilities and programming needs
• Tuition assistance
• General operations of the Academy

Current Projects

Currently, WCA is focusing on two major areas of development:

Parent-Teacher Fellowship

The Parent-Teacher Fellowship periodically meets to connect and partner with the WCA faculty. WCA strongly encourages parents to attend each meeting and volunteer for at least one of the activities/events that occurs during the school year. 

The Woodstream Christian Academy Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF) benefits families by:

• CONNECTING » PTF provides a means by which families may stay connected to the Academy.


• ASSISTING » PTF offers programs and workshops that are designed to assist parents as well as students, e.g., health, nutrition, safety, well-being, physical fitness, study skills, etc.


• NETWORKING » PTF strives to develop a network where WCA parents and teachers are connected with other parents and educators in the area.


• VOLUNTEERING » PTF offers families opportunities to volunteer for the good of the family and the Academy.


• FUNDRAISING » PTF plays an essential role in the success of the Academy by participating in fundraising to create and support school-based programs, curricula, building maintenance and improvements, transportation, classroom technology and equipment, and important activities/events.

Project Redemptive Love is a non-profit 501(c)(3), faith-based organization that assimilates at-risk families in a nurturing culture that helps to establish or restore hope, self-worth, character and life skills necessary to become functional families, contributors to society, and good citizens.

Project Redemptive Love confronts the problems that deblitate its communities. Other goals of the Project are to clothe the communities physically, emotionally, and spiritually with love and to correct world and life views that contribute to the abandonment of family and criminality.
