
Physical Education is a curriculum requirement for all K2-9th grade students. Students are trained to embrace a healthy lifestyle through exercise and good nutrition. The comprehensive program incorporates the following:
The WCA Athletics program offers a variety of sports including Junior Varsity and Varsity level teams. The Athletics program focuses on teamwork, skill development, sportsmanship and healthy competition. WCA is privileged to have qualified and passionate coaches who manage each team and are committed to developing the "whole child."

In order to participate in any Athletics program, students must meet specific requirements:
If a student is injured during a practice or game, they will be required to sit out. Injured students are not allowed to return to full participation without permission from a physician.
WCA partners with the Sports and Learning Complex and Bowie Gym for practices and games.
Woodstream Christian Academy has partnered with Full Circle Martial Arts Academy to provide Kung Fu classes to its students. Full Circle has been in operation since 1992 and believes in hard work and commitment to their students and surrounding communities.

Instructor-led classes are held at WCA in the Vineyard Café once a week for K4 - 5th grades. Students who participate in the six-week program are able to compete for 2 belt levels.
